How To Install Photoshop Presets

Step 01 - Receive Download Email

Once you've made your purchase you will immediately have the option to download the product(s) from the final purchase page and you will also receive a download email shortly after. If for any reason you don't receive this email immediately please reach out to us at There may be a problem with the email that you originally provided.

Step 02 - Unzip Your Downloaded Files

All of our products come packaged within zip files, we recommend that you store these in a safe place on your computer or on an external hard drive for future use. All product purchases are limited to three lifetime downloads, so safe keeping is highly recommended.

If your computer does not already have the ability to unzip these file types then you will need to download a free unarchiving application.

We recommend Keka for Mac and PeaZip for Windows.

 To Unzip

On Windows: Right-click on the downloaded zip files and click "extract-all."

On Mac: Double click the downloaded zip files and your computer will automatically extract the files.

Step 03 - Familiarize Yourself With The ColorMade Product Folder

Once you've unzipped your ColorMade products you will notice that each product folder contains two additional folders, one titled "Adobe Camera Raw" and another titled "Adobe Lightroom." - (See photos below) - The "Adobe Camera Raw" folder contains a preset folder titled "ColorMade - Product Name" that houses .xmp preset files that are compatible with Lightroom Classic CC 7.3+, Lightroom CC, Lightroom Mobile, and Photoshop Adobe Camera Raw, while the "Adobe Lightroom" folder contains a preset folder titled "ColorMade - Product Name" that houses.lrt files that are compatible with Lightroom 5, 6, and Lightroom Classic CC 7.0-7.2.

We supply both filetypes with every order to cover all situations.

NOTE, for this installation process we will be using the preset folder that is within the "Adobe Camera Raw" folder. (See photo below)

Adobe Camera Raw “Settings” folder locations:
Windows: (user)\Application Data\Adobe Camera Raw\Settings
